About Hartwell Land
A historic estate, quietly remade for contemporary stays.

Architecture
Chalk limestone, oak and a calmer plan
The estate keeps its historic outline — pediment, sash windows and a measured arrival sequence — while interiors were opened to softer light and clearer circulation. Public rooms favour linen, walnut and sea-grey stone. Bedrooms remain quiet and deliberately uncluttered.
The spa sits in a later wing, separated enough to hold its own rhythm. Gardens and terrace balustrades reconnect the house to the parkland that frames every stay.
